Continuing our itinerary outside the village of Abbadia San Salvatore is the small church of the Madonna dei Remedi built in 1602.
It might seem like a small church on the outskirts of the town and instead worth a visit to admire the beautiful frescoes by Francesco and Giuseppe Nicola Nasini.
In the chapel on the right we find the fresco dedicated to the “ Sante Cecilia and Barbara, Agnese, Margherita “, in the one on the left “ Sant’Agata, Santa Lucia, Miracoli di Sant’Antonio da Padova “and, on the vault, the” Glory of the Saint “.
On the main altar there is a Madonna and Child from the early sixteenth century. On the walls, instead, there is “the announcing Angel, the announced Virgin, Santi Pietro and Sebastiano, Paolo and Rocco, Michele and Raffaele, Francesco and Marco.
