On Sunday 6 September 2026, the Forum Fondazione Bertarelli in Poggi del Sasso, in the municipality of Cinigiano, hosts one of the most eagerly awaited events of the Amiata Music season: a piano concert by Alice Sara Ott dedicated to John Field and Ludwig van Beethoven.
The official programme brings together Field’s nocturnes, intimate and luminous pieces that influenced the history of Romantic piano music, with a selection of Beethoven sonatas. The announced works also include Sonata Op. 109 and the celebrated “Moonlight Sonata”, in an itinerary designed for anyone looking for an evening of high-level classical music in an intimate and scenic setting.
The concert is scheduled for 7:00 pm. For visitors exploring Mount Amiata or inland Maremma, it can become a cultural stop to combine with an itinerary through villages, wineries and hillside landscapes, arriving at the Forum in the late afternoon.
