Bagno Vignoni once again becomes an open-air cultural salon with I Colori del Libro 2026, scheduled from 11 to 13 September in this thermal village in the Val d’Orcia.
The 17th edition brings together meetings with authors, book presentations, readings and a market exhibition of used, antique and second-hand books. The preview is scheduled for Friday 11 September at 6:30 pm with Viola Ardone; the weekend continues with guests from the literary, journalistic and cultural worlds, including Dacia Maraini, Franco Gabrielli, Matteo Bussola and Fabio Genovesi.
For visitors, it is an opportunity to combine the charm of Bagno Vignoni’s water square with a widespread cultural programme, with events centred around Piazza del Moretto and moments also dedicated to children.
