Castiglione d’Orcia hosts Alba e Tramonto Festival until 22 August, a widespread cultural programme bringing theatre, dance, music, performances, books and talks to several places across the area.
The 2026 edition unfolds through Castiglione d’Orcia and its hamlets, with events designed to enhance villages, squares and cultural spaces in the Val d’Orcia landscape.
The programme includes evening shows, concerts, book presentations, workshops and performance events, alternating free admission with ticketed appointments. The festival is curated by Compagnia/Associazione Giardino Chiuso, with the support of the Municipality of Castiglione d’Orcia.
Among the venues listed in the official programme are Castiglione d’Orcia, Campiglia d’Orcia, Bagni San Filippo, Vivo d’Orcia and Gallina, creating an itinerary where performing arts meet the surrounding landscape.
