From 14 to 18 August, Pienza gets ready for several days of celebration in Piazza Dante Alighieri, with a programme designed to enliven the Ferragosto period through convivial moments, music and activities for families.
The Festa di Ferragosto is part of Pienza’s summer events calendar and includes aperitifs, food, music and afternoon entertainment for children.
The initiative is listed in the 2026 local events calendar and is promoted by Polisportiva Pienza and Pro Loco Pienza, in one of the town’s most popular public spaces during the summer.
For visitors spending the central days of August in the Val d’Orcia, the festival is a simple and welcoming opportunity to enjoy an evening in Pienza and experience the village in a lively summer atmosphere, alongside residents and travellers.
