On Sunday 23 August 2026, Montalcino will host the 5th Montalcino Motorcycle Rally, an event dedicated to motorcycle touring between the Brunello wine town and the panoramic roads of the Val d’Orcia.
The meeting point is Piazza del Popolo, with registration and welcome from 8:30 a.m. In the late morning, the programme includes the start of the motorcycle ride towards the Val d’Orcia, with an aperitif stop in Montisi, before lunch organized with the Pro Loco of Sant’Angelo in Colle.
The event is also interesting for visitors who are not taking part in the rally: Montalcino’s historic centre will become lively with the atmosphere of two wheels, while the route crosses landscapes much loved by motorcyclists, photographers and travellers. It can be a good opportunity to combine a walk through the village, a stop in the wine shops and an itinerary between Sant’Angelo in Colle, Montisi and the Crete Senesi.
