The Sagra del Raviolo in Contignano is one of the most recognisable food events of the summer in Val d’Orcia. The 2026 edition takes place from 11 to 16 August in the historic centre of the village, in the municipality of Radicofani, making it a good option for anyone in the area during the Ferragosto weekend.
The main attraction is handmade ravioli, a traditional local speciality served alongside other typical dishes. Alongside the food, the public programme includes music and evening entertainment, designed to bring the village to life and welcome visitors arriving for a few hours.
For travellers, the festival can be added to an itinerary between Radicofani, Bagno Vignoni, San Quirico d’Orcia and the landscapes of Val d’Orcia. It is an informal event, ideal for those looking for local cooking and a village atmosphere rather than a large-stage festival.
